AIIMS New Delhi launched an AI-based mental health and wellness

  • All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, launched an AI-based mental health and wellness program called “Never Alone” to tackle student suicides and improve mental health awareness.

  • The program, launched on World Suicide Prevention Day (10 September) offers 24/7 virtual and offline consultations with mental health experts through a web-based app accessible via WhatsApp.

  • The app provides personalised and secure mental health screening for just 70 paise per student per day for institutions with 5 thousand students.

15th Vice President of India- C P Radhakrishnan

  • NDA candidate and Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan will be the new Vice-President of India. He defeated I.N.D.I.A. bloc candidate and former Supreme Court Judge B Sudershan Reddy by a margin of 152 votes.

Election Results:

  • NDA- CP Radhakrishnan: 452 votes (60.10%)

  • INDIA- B. Sudarshan Reddy: 300 votes (39.90%)

  • Total 781 electors, 767 MPs voted in the election out of 767 votes, 752 were found valid and 15 were declared invalid.

  • Voting Percentage- ~98%

India has secured nine major world records in space exploration

India has secured nine major world records in space exploration and aims to add 8 to 10 more in the coming years.

  • Mars Orbiter Mission (2014): India became the first nation to reach Mars on its maiden attempt.

  • PSLV-C37 (2017): Set a world record by launching 104 satellites in a single mission.

  • Chandrayaan-2 (2019): Carried the world’s best orbiter camera around the Moon.

  • Chandrayaan-3 (2023): Made India the first country to land a spacecraft near the lunar South Pole.

  • Between 2014 and 2017, India set three global records in cryogenic stage development, including the fastest maiden flight of LVM3 with cryogenic stage in 28 months.

  • ISRO’s cost-sensitive approach has significantly reduced launch expenses.

  • India has launched over 4,000 rockets and 133 satellites so far, aiding national security, economic growth, and space entrepreneurship.

  • By 2040, India aims to land a human on the Moon, advancing its goal of becoming a developed nation.
